OGIO, a supplier of promotional sports bags, recently announced it is branching out into the corporate apparel market. The company’s new eight-item apparel line will be called OGIO Apparel and includes five polos, a cap and two jackets.
“OGIO decided to take a leap into corporate apparel because it’s a good fit for them, but it’s also something totally new and different outside of the promotional gear and golf bags that have made them as popular as they are,” says Amber Butler of Sanmar Corporation, the line’s exclusive distributor.
OGIO’s offers four men’s and one women’s style of polo shirts, which will be available in adult sizes XS-4XL. The shirts are made from 100% wicking polyester interlock, and feature jacquard neck tape and transfer labels. Notable styles include the “Handlebar,” which features cross-grain panels on the shoulder, and the “Accelerator,” with rib knit panels under the arms, a right-chest angled zippered pocket and a three-snap, raised inner placket.
The company’s commitment to performance is equally apparent in “The Outlaw,” a motocross-inspired soft shell jacket that features stretch side panels and zippered sleeve vents. Made from 100% polyester stretch shell bonded to polyester mesh, it incorporates a laminated film insert for wind and water resistance. Sizes XS-4XL are available in one color.
Butler expects OGIO to debut more corporate apparel, perhaps even items featuring the same eco-conscious materials offered in its bags. “I would expect to see them grow and develop the line,” she says.
