Red will be a darling in promotional apparel this coming season. Quite simply, it can’t be missed. “Businesses that want to make a statement and stand out from the crowd should consider using red,” says Kate Souza, PR and internal communications specialist at Charles River Apparel. Souza says that as red “suggests speed” as well as confidence, it instantly endorses a company merely through the color’s visual cues. “Red is the color choice of the season,” says Janine Toner, marketing coordinator at Broder Bros. Co., noting it especially applies for the wholesale market. She says that “color plays an important role in the selection of employee uniforms and team wear,” the two core areas of the industry, according to Toner.
